Weasel Jan 8 2011 Wilband

Weasel Jan 8 2011 Wilband

I gave a few squeaks and it reappeared. I was trying to decide what kind of weasel this was as there are 3 kinds; Long-tailed, Least and Short-tailed. The Least has no black tip on the tail. I didn't see the tail. The size of this one wants me to say Least but it seems to be out of its' range. Long-tailed and Short-tailed could be here. The color is strikingly different than the weasel I photographed in Saskatchewan which I would think is a Long-tailed. So I will go for Short-tailed and leave myself open to correction.
